Great post on Seth Godin's blog about different types of traffic. He compares the traffic numbers of sites like MySpace and Facebook to Amazon. While Facebook and MySpace crush Amazon in pure volume, those people aren't buying anything. Visitors are playing net voyeur while Amazon customers are spending money. The moral of the story is to improve the quality of traffic, not generate get more of the same. --------
